Are there any travel advisories or updates related to COVID-19 for Grand Wailea, Maui, or Hawaii?
Grand Wailea’s security team continues to closely monitor the situation and is working with the Hawaii Tourism Authority, Hawaii Department of Health and various international health authorities along with the Hilton Corporate Communications team to ensure the safety of all travelers and guests of our resort. Where are you located?
Grand Wailea Maui is located at 3850 Wailea Alanui Dr, Wailea, HI 96753, in South Maui, right off of Wailea Beach.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is at 4 pm.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 12 pm. Hospitality rooms may be requested based on availability for increments of 30 minutes to shower and refresh before your flight.
Do you offer pool passes for non-registered guests?
We do not offer pool passes or day passes for non-registered guests.
What parking options are available?
Valet parking is available at the resort for $40/day. There is not a self-parking option available.
Are you a pet-friendly resort?
Grand Wailea is a pet-friendly resort, and also welcomes all therapy and service animals. There is a $30/night non-refundable pet fee. There is no fee for service or therapy animals.
How many guests can be in a room or a suite?
Standard rooms accommodate up to four (4) guests per room, with all king bedrooms offering a pull-out sofa located in the room. Two adults are allowed per room; additional adults will be required to pay additional per adult, per night. Suites accommodate up to five (5) guests per room; two adults per room with additional adults costing extra per night.
What is your cancellation policy?
Grand Wailea has a 14-day cancellation policy, in which standard reservations may be canceled at no charge. Advanced purchase packages and rates, special promotions, and rooms purchased via third party partners may have separate terms and conditions. Festive stays between December 20 – January 3 have a 60-day cancellation policy.
Is Grand Wailea all-inclusive?
Grand Wailea does not offer an all-inclusive package. Amenities on property, including dining, are separate from room rates.
Is turndown service available?
Turndown service is available by request at check-in.
What movie was filmed at Grand Wailea?
Many of the Hawaii scenes from Just Go With It were filmed at Grand Wailea.
Is smoking allowed in rooms or on property at Grand Wailea?
In accordance with the Hawaii Smoke-Free Law (Act 295), smoking is prohibited in enclosed and partially enclosed areas, within 20 feet of doorways, including guest room lanais. There are designated smoking areas throughout the resort gardens by the thatched huts with ash urns. If you have questions, please call the Front Desk at ext. 50.
Are personal drones allowed on Grand Wailea property?
Grand Wailea takes guest safety and privacy seriously, and in compliance with Hilton Worldwide and Wailea Resort Association rules, operation of personal Unmanned Aircraft Systems/Drones is prohibited on-premise. Grand Wailea is a UAS/Drone No Fly Zone for all personal and recreational purposes, and approved vendors must work through marketing to ensure all permits and licenses are obtained.
What is the liquor law on Maui? Do I need to carry my ID with me?
Hawaii State Liquor Law requires a person to be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol. All patrons will be asked to present identification prior to being served alcohol at any of the resort’s outlets. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the pool deck and activity areas. Grand Wailea reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any patron without proper identification or thought to be visibly impaired.
Does Grand Wailea collaborate or work with influencers?
Due to high occupancy, Grand Wailea has paused it’s influencer program. Due to the high amount of influencer requests we receive, we may not be able to respond to your influencer inquiry.
Are there safes available in every room?
Yes, safes are available in every guest room.
What airport should I fly into?
The main airport hub on Maui is OGG.
