Grand Lūʻau
Immerse yourself in authentic Hawaiian culture with our spectacular lūʻau featuring traditional ceremonies, music, and dishes such as poi, kālua pig, poke, and haupia. Take a seat at your own private table overlooking Wailea Beach for an unforgettable evening filled with interactive entertainment, hula lessons, and amazing performances that showcase the myths and legends of Maui in all their colorful, fiery glory.
Fitness Classes
Explore a variety of approaches to wellness with Kilolani Spa’s expanded wellness offerings ranging from pioneering bio-harmonization modalities to leading-edge fitness facilities, movement and mind/body classes. Events change weekly; registration required.
Cultural Activities
Embrace Hawaiian culture at every opportunity with our immersive experiences and activities. Learn to dance the hula or play the ‘ukulele or master the techniques of traditional Hawaiian crafts. Events change weekly; registration required.
Garden Tour
Tour the grounds and gardens with our head of landscaping and see our “resort farm-to-table” philosophy in action. Tours take place every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
Cultural Tour
Take a tour of our resort with our in-house Hawaiian Cultural Ambassador and see how the history, culture, medicine, and traditions of Hawaiʻi are intertwined in every part of our resort. Tours take place every Wednesday.
Outrigger Tour
Grand Wailea celebrates one of the most revered Hawaiian traditions with our Outrigger program. Join our partners at Maui Pacific Tours for an authentic experience aboard a traditional outrigger canoe on a guided paddling journey down the golden coast of Wailea—Hawaiian for the “waters of Lea,” the goddess of canoe builders. Advance reservations required; limited seats available every morning.
E Ala E
Join us for E Ala E mornings, a ceremonial experience in which guests will enter the ocean to release any negativity or stress. Guests will emerge from the ocean renewed and greet the rising sun with a rousing “E Ala E” chant, creating energy for the day ahead.
