Mālama Hawaiʻi

Find your deeper connection to the people and ‘aina (land) of Maui by giving back to the island through our Mālama Hawaiʻi program. The relationship between people and place grows stronger when you kōkua (help). By giving back to the land, ocean, wildlife, forest, fishpond, and community, you become part of the circle that enriches everything and everyone.

When you book the Mālama Hawaiʻi Package, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the coastal preservation team at Hawaiʻi Land Trust, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit and nationally accredited land trust that is dedicated to protecting fragile lands. In return for your kōkua (help), we will say mahalo (thank you) by giving you a free 6th night of your stay. This night’s stay is credited upon check-out and volunteering with HILT.

Volunteer opportunities with HiLT are available every Friday from 8am - 12pm and every 3rd Saturday of each month from 8am - 11am. Visit HiLT's Volunteer page for more info and to fill out a volunteer reservation date once your package has been booked. In the volunteer waiver, please enter "Grand Wailea MĀLAMA".
