Spa etiquette
Q. How early should I arrive for my treatment?
Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to termecheck-in time. A late arrival will determine the length
of your treatment time. Your treatment will end as scheduled so that the next guest may begin on time.
Q. What should I know about health concerns?
If you have any health concerns, please consult your physician before visiting any spa.
Pregnancy: You may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and hydrotherapy treatments
involving heat. Please inform our spa agents about the stage of your pregnancy upon scheduling your appointments.
Menstrual cycle: Ladies on their cycle are asked not to utilize the hot tubs and specialty
baths in the Termé Wailea Hydrotherapy, however please be aware that Spa Grande offers and array of water therapies such as the tropical showers, eucalyptus steam room, redwood sauna and a complimentary honey mango loofah exfoliation.
Q. How do I prepare for my spa visit?
We will provide you with a locker for your personal belongings. Please do not bring
valuables to the spa. You will receive towels and slippers while in the Termé Wailea
Hydrotherapy and a robe for your treatments. If you feel more comfortable, please bring
your bathing suit, as the Termé Wailea Hydrotherapy is a bathing suit optional area. Disposable bathing suits are available for a small fee.
Q. Do I have to disrobe entirely for spa treatments?
That is your option, however, keep in mind our staff is trained to appropriately drape
you with towels for privacy.
Q. Can I ask my therapist to make adjustments?
Absolutely. This is your treatment. Communicate with the staff regarding room temperature,
pressure, technique, etc. We value your feedback. In addition, at the time of booking your
appointment, discuss with the associate your preferences for gentle, moderate or deep massage,
